High School Diploma Program
Eureka Adult School offers a high school diploma through our credit recovery program: We identify the credits you need and work with you on a self-paced independent study program that can be computer or paper-based. You meet regularly with a teacher to guide you through all your work. There is no cost for this program.

HOW TO GET STARTED
- First, provide us with your transcript from the last high school or adult school that you attended. You can bring a printed copy to our office, or email it to us at eas@eurekacityschools.org
- Next, create an account in our online system by clicking here.
- Then call us to schedule an intake, which includes a diagnostic test and a transcript evaluation and lasts about 90 minutes.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program
Eureka Adult School provides a nurse assistant training course approved by the California Department of Public Health. The course content complies with Title 22, the minimum standards of patient care, and the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (OBRA). The course includes 60 hours of theory instruction. In addition to theory a minimum of 100 hours of clinical training in a skilled nursing facility.
Contact the RN program coordinator, Angie Beeson, for the most current class schedule. The training program is offered throughout the year. We break in July and August. The program meets in the evening. Monday through Friday between the hours of 3:45pm to 8:15 pm. Interested candidates are encouraged to contact the program director via email, for a free no obligation consultation and to receive the application packets.
